On November 21 2024 Dr. Barbara Pelzmann visited the Bilingual Grammar School (ZBGO) on behalf of the organisation "Giving for living". This is a non-profit organisation with the mission to find life-saving stem cell donors for people suffering from leukemia. Our pupils and collegues participated in this action. The typing is the first step on the way to the stem cell donation. Genetic tissue characteristics are determined from a saliva sample. We are planning to do this regularly in the following years.
