11 pupils of our 3H conducted an intereting project: the raise and the care of stick insects. These insects are famous for their camouflage. Youngster develop an increased consciousness for responsibility and sustainability.

The regular feeding with blackberry leaves and the cleaning of the tank once a month as well as the pouring of the tank were their tasks.The tank was sponsered by Family Kurtz. Thank you very much.

Our pupils were deeply moved and fascinated when the first young insects were discovered.

This project shows impressively how practice-oriented teaching can awaken interest for nature. Our stick insects have become stars of our 3H.
